By this time Oedipa, Metzger, and The Paranoids have gone to Fangoso Lake to find one of Pierce's land-holdings. They meet Manny di Presso who is suing Pierce's estate. Then, we are all of a sudden whisked into a story called The Courier's Tragedy. Later on, Oedipa tries to resolve/ look into the situation regarding the lawsuit against Pierce's estate.

okay, i'm glad you are keeping up on the reading, for the most part, and writing entries. try to make some connections between events and people in the different chapters. see if you can "understand" what is happening in the novel.
